This is not a piece you'll find on a rack. The Verge Rapid Top in Black is a salesman sample — a pre-production piece made before the run, which means what you're getting is genuinely one of a kind. And it's worth looking at closely. The body is cut from a smooth, satin-like woven fabric, contrasted with matte jersey knit sleeves and a full jersey back panel — a deliberate mix of textures that gives the top its edge. Geometric diagonal seam stitching cuts across the front, while dropped shoulders are punctuated with small silver dome studs. A silver D-ring hangs from a fabric tab just below the neckline — the kind of detail that makes you look twice. The asymmetrical hemline and side vents (reinforced with herringbone cotton webbing tape and finished with a silver rivet at the stress point) round out a top that's been thought through from every angle.
