Are all items secondhand?
Most items at Secondhand Nature are pre-loved and secondhand, but I also occasionally offer brand new items with tags. Each listing clearly states whether an item is secondhand or new. All pieces are carefully curated, inspected, and cleaned before being listed.
How can I be sure an item will fit me?
To determine if an item will fit you, we recommend referring to the flat lay sizing specifications provided in the descriptions. This approach is more reliable than relying solely on the listed tag sizes, as sizing can vary depending on age, brands and country of origin.
How do I check the measurements?
All of our measurements are from flat lay so the best way to check the measurements before you purchase your garment is to grab a similar item you have at home which fits you well, lay it down on a flat surface, grab a measuring tape and compare your measurements to the ones you see in our product descriptions.
What condition will my item be in?
We do our best to ensure there are no surprises when it comes to you getting your threads. However, it's important to keep in mind that items can be up to 30+ years old and will likely show signs of wear such as fading, small marks or stains and other minor imperfections. If these are noticeable or there's a fault that may compromise the function of the garment, we will include this in the description as well as photographs.
Can I see more photos or get measurements?

Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! I offer free local pickup in Tasmania. Once you place your order, I'll be in touch within 24 hours to arrange a convenient time and location.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days. Once shipped via Australia Post, delivery usually takes 3-7 business days depending on your location. You'll receive a tracking number once your order is on its way.
Please note: We are not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen, or delayed by Australia Post. Please refer to the Australia Post website for delivery times for your location.
What if an item doesn't fit or I'm not happy with it?
I don't accept change of mind returns, but if the item doesn't match the description or there's a genuine issue, you can return it within 14 days. Please see the Returns page for full details.
Are items cleaned before being sent?
Yes! All items are carefully inspected and cleaned before being listed and shipped to you.
