Understanding Item Condition

Every item at Secondhand Nature is pre-loved and secondhand. I take great care to describe each piece honestly and accurately, but it's important to remember that these items have had a previous lifeā€”and that's part of their charm!

How I Describe Condition

Excellent: Gently used with minimal to no visible signs of wear. Looks nearly new.

Very Good: Lightly used with minor signs of wear that don't detract from the overall appearance. May have very slight fading or minimal pilling.

Good: Shows normal signs of wear consistent with regular use. May have some fading, light marks, or minor imperfections, but still in good wearable condition.

Fair: Noticeable signs of wear such as fading, pilling, or minor flaws. Still functional and wearable, with character and life left in it.

What to Expect

All items are carefully inspected, cleaned, and photographed. I do my best to capture any imperfections in the photos and note them in the description. However, please remember that secondhand items may have:

  • Minor signs of previous wear
  • Slight colour fading from washing or age
  • Small imperfections that add to their unique character
  • Vintage or pre-loved charm that makes them one-of-a-kind
