Welcome to Secondhand Nature
As a child, I spent hours in our garage attic, running my fingers over old textiles, marvelling at the intricate details on forgotten wares. There was magic in those corners that most people walked past. That feeling never left me. Secondhand Nature was born from a deep belief in valuing what already exists — and a lifelong eye for the beauty hiding in plain sight.
My Story
I'm Fiona, a mum to two gorgeous children and the heart behind this small Tasmanian business. At Secondhand Nature, I curate pre-loved pieces that deserve a second chance — items with character, quality, and stories to tell. I hand-select each piece for its beauty, craftsmanship, or unique charm. The best pieces rarely announce themselves — you have to know how to look.
The Beauty of What Already Exists
We already live in a world full of beautiful things. By choosing pieces that have already been made, we're celebrating what exists rather than creating demand for more. Some of what you'll find here has never been worn — tags still attached, a casualty of the throwaway culture we're all trying to move away from. Some has been loved and lived in. Some is vintage, some is last season, some is simply too good to end up in landfill.
New, pre-loved, retro, vintage — all of it worthy of a home. That's the whole point.
