The Dangerfield Read It Again pinafore is covered — entirely, gloriously — in passages from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Not a motif, not a nod: actual text, in vintage cursive script, layered over a soft light blue base with decorative ink splatters that make the whole thing look like a page from a well-loved book. Passages from across the story are here — Alice growing and shrinking, wondering what on earth is happening to her. The famous “Drink Me” line sits right at the centre of the bust. The wider skirt panels carry longer passages. Every time you wear it, someone will lean in to read it.
